Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 28-08-2009

There were a total of 282 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 28 August, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 9 on the same day.

Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 69 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 64 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 25 companies on 28 August, 2009.

If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Bangalore that is 3 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Karnataka tops the list with 3 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Bengaluru Urban had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 3 LLPs on 28 August, 2009
