Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 27-03-2010
There were a total of 170 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 27 March, 2010 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kolkata — 94 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, West Bengal tops the list with 93 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 78 companies on 27 March, 2010.
