Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 25-07-2008
There were a total of 310 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 25 July, 2008 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 80 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, West Bengal tops the list with 68 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 48 companies on 25 July, 2008.
