Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 23-10-2012
There were a total of 331 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 23 October, 2012 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 23 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kolkata — 70 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 71 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 52 companies on 23 October, 2012.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai that is 10 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 14 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 9 LLPs on 23 October, 2012
