Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 22-08-2026
There were a total of 335 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 22 August, 2026 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 92 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Pune — 30 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 68 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Pune had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 22 companies on 22 August, 2026.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai I that is 11 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 24 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 11 LLPs on 22 August, 2026
