Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 21-05-2014
There were a total of 127 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 21 May, 2014 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 45 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kolkata I — 34 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, West Bengal tops the list with 59 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 34 companies on 21 May, 2014.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Ahmedabad that is 10 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 15 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 7 LLPs on 21 May, 2014
