Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 18-11-2009
There were a total of 280 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 18 November, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 10 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kolkata — 59 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, West Bengal tops the list with 59 companies. As far as districts are concerned, South 24 Parganas had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 34 companies on 18 November, 2009.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Delhi that is 6 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Delhi tops the list with 6 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned South Delhi had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 4 LLPs on 18 November, 2009
