Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 17-09-2009
There were a total of 286 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 17 September, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 2 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 60 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 51 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 28 companies on 17 September, 2009.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Delhi that is 1 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Haryana tops the list with 1 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Gurugram had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 1 LLPs on 17 September, 2009
