Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 17-05-2026
There were a total of 73 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 17 May, 2026 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 154 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Ahmedabad — 6 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 10 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 5 companies on 17 May, 2026.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Bangalore that is 15 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 35 LLPs.
