Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 17-05-2014
There were a total of 24 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 17 May, 2014 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 6 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Chennai — 8 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Tamil Nadu tops the list with 8 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 4 companies on 17 May, 2014.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai that is 5 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 5 LLPs.
