Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 16-12-2014
There were a total of 214 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 16 December, 2014 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 57 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kanpur — 50 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Uttar Pradesh tops the list with 50 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 14 companies on 16 December, 2014.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Ahmedabad that is 12 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 20 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 9 LLPs on 16 December, 2014
