Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 09-12-2009
There were a total of 243 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 9 December, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 5 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Mumbai — 34 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 41 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 25 companies on 9 December, 2009.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai that is 2 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 2 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 2 LLPs on 9 December, 2009
