Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 08-10-2009
There were a total of 238 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 8 October, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 8 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi I — 25 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 46 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 15 companies on 8 October, 2009.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Pune that is 2 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 2 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Bengaluru Urban had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 2 LLPs on 8 October, 2009
