Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 08-03-2005
There were a total of 71 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 8 March, 2005 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Kolkata — 43 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, West Bengal tops the list with 43 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 41 companies on 8 March, 2005.
