Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 07-08-2009

There were a total of 269 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 7 August, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 8 on the same day.

Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 61 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 54 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 29 companies on 7 August, 2009.

If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Bangalore that is 4 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Karnataka tops the list with 4 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Bengaluru Urban had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 2 LLPs on 7 August, 2009
