Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 06-01-2010
There were a total of 327 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 6 January, 2010 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 8 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Mumbai — 76 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 80 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 45 companies on 6 January, 2010.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai that is 5 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 5 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 5 LLPs on 6 January, 2010
