Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 05-03-2011
There were a total of 99 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 5 March, 2011 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Ahmedabad — 33 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, West Bengal tops the list with 35 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 30 companies on 5 March, 2011.
