Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 04-05-2012
There were a total of 394 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 4 May, 2012 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 7 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 86 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 73 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 27 companies on 4 May, 2012.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai that is 5 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 5 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 4 LLPs on 4 May, 2012
