Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 02-09-2009
There were a total of 247 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 2 September, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 6 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 61 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 59 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Kolkata had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 29 companies on 2 September, 2009.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Bangalore that is 2 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Karnataka tops the list with 2 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Bengaluru Urban had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 2 LLPs on 2 September, 2009
