Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 02-01-2013
There were a total of 205 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 2 January, 2013 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 9 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 75 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 63 companies. As far as districts are concerned, South Delhi had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 19 companies on 2 January, 2013.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Chennai that is 4 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Tamil Nadu tops the list with 5 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Chennai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 3 LLPs on 2 January, 2013
