Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 01-10-2009
There were a total of 238 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 1 October, 2009 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 4 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Delhi — 47 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Delhi tops the list with 41 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 30 companies on 1 October, 2009.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Bangalore that is 3 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Karnataka tops the list with 3 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Bengaluru Urban had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 3 LLPs on 1 October, 2009
