Summary of Newly Registered Companies in India on 01-04-2016
There were a total of 37 companies (Private and Public Limited Companies) registered in India on 1 April, 2016 as per the records of Ministry of Corporate Affairs whilst the number of LLPs registered were 92 on the same day.
Amongst all the RoCs in India, most of the companies were from RoC-Mumbai — 8 companies. If we compare the number of companies registered state-wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 11 companies. As far as districts are concerned, Mumbai had the maximum number of companies registered — a total of 4 companies on 1 April, 2016.
If we look at LLP registrations, most of the LLPs were from RoC-Mumbai that is 32 LLPs. If we compare the number of companies registered state wise, Maharashtra tops the list with 38 LLPs. As far as districts are concerned Mumbai had the maximum number of LLPs registered, a total of 22 LLPs on 1 April, 2016
